《13 Reasons Why》的評價在Amazon平均分數４以上。聽完這本有聲書的第一個想法是：很有種學生廣播劇的感覺。不論是故事劇情或是配音，主題環繞在校園生活可能是主要原因之一。很不喜歡故事主角Hannah Baker自己要去死，還可以落落長地控訴怪罪他人的13個理由。

中文書名《漢娜的遺言》書介上寫著「蟬聯紐約時報排行榜長達五十七週，勇奪多項文學大獎令人震撼的生命省思媲美《最後14堂星期二的課》，即將由環球影業改拍成電影」。

如果大家有讀過《最後14堂星期二的課》就知道這兩者的差別。一個是勇敢面對死亡，並帶著讀者重新看待死亡的多重意義。《13 Reasons Why》是想不開尋死，卻留下死亡詛咒的錄音帶一一控訴身前別人怎麼樣怎麼樣地對待她不公，逼著她尋短。這樣的故事格局讓我想到小時候看得港劇，每次主演壞人的羅嘉良最經典的一句話：「這一切都是你們逼我的」。

所以對於主角Hannah Baker，我完全無法理解。而男主角Clay像極了無能為力徹底失敗的守護天使，一邊聽著錄音帶一邊想著「為什麼你們不救她，Hannah需要你們理解她……」，似乎死人所有指控都是對的，都是別人害她走向自殺一途。如果我是Clay的角色，不知道會不會邊聽邊罵：「xxxx，甘我屁事啊！」

哎呀～好情緒化的心得 ，完全不是我的菜。喜歡像《Winter's Bones》那種 "Haunting, grim, but somehow optimistic" 的故事。

Afternoon Play 是一个BBC 4台在下午播出的廣播劇節目，每天一个獨立的故事，46分鐘左右，情節精巧，表現形式雅致，音響的運用也很恰到好处，英式的口音，整體感覺特别容易觸動人的心弦。一段美好的吸引，一件微小的情事，以及一些零零碎碎的伴着温暖的陽光的细節，往往抵得過之后细细碎碎的歲月經年。
劇本的作者都是有名的劇作家，或者他們由文學名著改编而成。
我一直都對這些文學類的廣播劇情有獨鍾。
本資源可以當成英語泛聽的材料，遗憾的是没有文本。

看到【英文妙筆記】裡介紹，《天才雷普利》的作者Patricia Highsmith的另一本書 Strangers on a Train《火車怪客》，基於非常喜歡《天才雷普利》電影原聲帶的我，開始尋找是否有有聲書版。結果發現BBC 4 Afternoon Play。雖然下載iplayer，但是並沒有準時收聽的習慣，廣播劇常常約一～兩個禮拜就移除，追起來很辛苦。發現網路收集2006年《Afternoon Play》共211集，真是如獲至寶。

列出全部211集，每個禮拜聽三～五個廣播劇做泛聽教材。希望能盡量寫心得，幫助記憶。

這五本Shopaholic有聲書程度皆為初級。聽Shopaholic有聲書總時數接近65個小時，我真的不敢相信。要寫心得時才驚覺：「唉，其實就是這樣也沒什麼好寫得。」Shopaholic是速食類的小說，絕對不是用來增長智慧。但還是可以從中學習英式用語、時尚品牌、倫敦區域好壞（西倫敦vs.東倫敦）、百貨商圈、英美結婚儀式差異……。

這有聲書難易程度初級，故事由主角五歲小男孩Jack以天真的口吻敘述他和Ma的生活。之前聽《小王子》有聲書，為兩個配音員一男一女（失事飛行員、小王子、玫瑰）。那永遠的小王子由裝得不太像小孩的大人，有點美中不足。而這套有聲書，Jack時不時唱起兒歌〈Row, row, row your boat〉，模仿起《Alice in Wonderland》裡的對話，配音完整呈現童言童語的童趣可愛。


看到《Room》故事大綱時，可能會以為就像是電視新聞上的綁架囚禁案件的發展情節。但不一樣，它並沒有恐怖也沒有催淚的企圖，故事也不是結束在happily ever after。因為被綁架監禁強暴生子的Ma，心裡的傷害和重新適應社會的能力，絕對不是像Rapunzel長髮公主一樣，逃出高塔擺脫巫婆安心地和王子私奔，然後從此在城堡裡過著幸福快樂的日子。以為「房間」就是整個世界的Jack，他不敢看著人說話，他不知道原來天空真的會下雨（他一直以為那是在電視裡或是外太空才會發生的事情）。Jack和Ma要怎麼樣在這真正的世界活下去？

[Audiobook] Shopaholic - Sophie Kinsella (Emily Gray)

本來想用一篇文章來總結Shopaholic系列，但是隨著時間流逝，第一集故事已經和後面的續集混在一塊，快忘記想不起前面幾集的故事大綱了。花了這麼多時間在Shopaholic身上，給她適當的版面似乎是應該的。以下的心得，是以英文小說、有聲書為主，從英語學習的角度來「欣賞」

如果是中文版的購物狂，我可能看完會覺得被騙了（雖然沒看過中文版）。怎麼說呢，因為這類型「都會女性輕小說」(chick lit)不是我所偏好的，但我能想像會成為暢銷書的原因。輕鬆詼諧、手法重複、沒有內容，笑一笑沒負擔地閱讀，看完闔上書本不會有很沉悶的複雜情緒。很適合忙碌的上班族和職業婦女，拋開整天煩人的瑣事。畢竟，累了一天，心情想放鬆腦袋想放空時，實在很不適合看《莎拉的鑰匙》或是《Winter's Bone》這類讀完令人心情沉悶的書。

去年看電視重播《Confessions of a Shopaholic》，上個月在圖書館發現才又想起來。電影版男女主角選角選得挺搭。整個閱讀過程中，一直不斷想起女主角「沒買到會死」、「一直不斷說謊圓謊」的表情。電影劇情的發展和小說不太一樣。（先不爆雷，想放鬆又可以看華麗的服裝表演的好選擇）
